Overall Project Target


As you expand your use of technology, you will gain an understanding of the purpose of a public service announcement (PSA) as well as the difference between a PSA and an advertisement. You will develop ideas for a PSA to raise awareness about a health issue.

Project Description

In this project, you will work cooperatively to create a 30-second PSA that can air on a local access cable channel, be shown to the school, or posted on our school website. Working in groups of three to four, you will select a topic from a list provided and then use the Internet to find information that you can use to support your message.

There will be several graded assignments in addition to your final PSA. They will be assigned throughout the project.
